By accessing or using FoodWar ("the App") at foodwar.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FoodWar is a nutrition gamification platform that allows users to track food intake, participate in virtual food battles, earn experience points, join clans, and receive AI-powered nutrition coaching. The App is designed for general wellness and entertainment purposes.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information
• You may not transfer your account to another person

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the App
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

5. Payments & Subscriptions

FoodWar offers premium features through digital product purchases and subscriptions:

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis as described at time of purchase
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• All sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice to subscribers

6. Health Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: FoodWar is a gamification and wellness tool for entertainment and general health awareness. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant dietary or lifestyle changes. Do not disregard professional medical advice based on information from this App.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of FoodWar — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are owned by FoodWar and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. User Content

By submitting content (food logs, community posts, battle votes, etc.) to the App, you grant FoodWar a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App. You retain ownership of your content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FoodWar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
